A SUCCESSFUL COACHING JOURNEY GOES HAND-IN-HAND WITH A GREAT COACH-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP AND EVERY RELATIONSHIP HAS SOME CHEMISTRY. HERE YOU CAN LEARN A BIT ABOUT ME, BUT REMEMBER, “NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER.”
Being a life coach isn’t something that you learn–it’s something you are. Growing up I was always that listening ear; all my friends would tell me, “Avromi you’d make an awesome life coach.”
Well, what happened next is life!
The adventure began when I started a security company, after which I then went on to work for an Amazon reseller. I was always helping people, and from time-to-time I’d find myself in a “coaching” role. I worked with youth as a counselor, always sharing advice, motivation, or helpful tips. Sometimes I even taught some guitar! I’ve worked as a personal support worker for adults and children with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and other mental and physical “challenges”, as I like to call them. I’m also a certified drug counselor and I help people wean off of, and get clean from drugs. And with all that…I still felt like I was missing something. There was an inner need within myself to help people experience development in their personal lives, careers, and relationships.
After this realization, I went from being a developmental disability counselor to a personal development coach. I trained professionally for over 200 hours. Through this, I discovered a holistic approach to coaching that I fell in love with. I believe that our personal development and growth is one with our physical and mental health. In fact, YOU are one whole being–physical, biological, and social–and your life should be viewed that way. In plain English, that means that your career, relationships, health, studies etc. are all connected–they’re all one, and they are all YOU.
